If you have never seen the film “White Zombie”, starring Bela Lugosi, then I recommend that you do. It is a highly underrated example of a film that veers toward awful with such vigour that it goes full circle and comes back around to awesome. I stole Bela Lugosi’s eyes for this piece (vaguely).
Also, that was the film that so captivated Rob Zombie that he used its title for the name of his band, White Zombie. I saw them live in Melbourne back in the day, and they rocked.
